Today

By Adam J Maynard

Today I saw some margarine smeared on an elk. I saw some Saints smiling and waving before they sailed off across wild oceans. God was smiling very hard too, playing with his balloons. A rock group in purple leisure suits were squabbling about artistic differences.

Julie decided that the flamingos had failed her and was flailing wildly with the bees stuck in her hair. Different emotions engulfed my fury as I watched the Buddha fucking in the sweet chrysanthemum scented rain.

Today, thousands of cherries in a box meant nothing. I thought they would.

"Just let the poodle wear the slippers for Christ's sake" Julie yelled.

The goat was flirting with the trombone in the back yard.

"Cum on Donald Duck!" they both shouted.

In the afternoon I saw a robot stuck in a tree. Sparks were coming out of the robot's head and the robot made a funny, gurgling electronic noise before it finally fell silent.

'Does the sea have an ego?'

The pineapple kept contradicting me while the trumpet masturbated about the zebra.

Smoke leaked out of her nipples. She said that today she was especially scared of crisps. She had an irrational fear of them, but she didn't know why. She could never really say why she was afraid of things, she just was.

Finally, I came on her miserable eyebrow and it was very weird. It looked sort of like a caterpillar covered in jewels.
