A white stretch limousine pulled up outside his house on that clear, bright morning. Two antelopes wearing fedoras leapt out of the vehicle and dashed across his immaculate lawn.

They rapped on the door and as soon the man opened up, they sprayed his face with mace and immediately he reeled backwards in to the stairwell, frantically rubbing at his eyes.

He sat on the stairs in his white bathrobe screaming. The two antelopes went gliding from room to room in search of something. They made for very strange viewing in their hats, rifling through his drawers and paper work, but after five minutes or so they gave up and headed back towards the door. On the way out, one of them said, "You were lucky".

The man in the white bath robe who had just had mace sprayed in his face did not feel lucky. He walked out on to his prized lawn and saw the hoof marks. The hoof marks had ruined his lawn.

A few drops of blood dripped from his left eye as the cicadas busily hummed and droned away in the bushes.

He needed to take a break, but he needed someone to tell him to take a break. This was just the way it was.
